Trynda E. Adair is a Canadian author, first published in 2011 through the Lake Winnipeg Writers Group for her short story Revival. She went on to publish the short story as Revival (Prologue), the first in a series continued after Trynda graduated from college with a web development degree.

Currently Trynda is prepping for National Novel Writing Month during the month of November. Trynda plans to write several short stories for NaNoWriMo and is getting ready for word sprints and writing more words during the month. When NaNoWriMo is finished, Trynda plans to return to editing her first novel and current work in progress On Fallen Wings.

@Sheorais I think the idea is that people will be running gambling operations regardless, so it's better to implement regulations and put what money you can back into community services. Similar regulatory practices are implemented with alcohol and cannabis here also. (2/3)

@Sheorais To some degree I think there is exploitation, especially with the new flashy games you'd see these days. Here in Manitoba our casinos evolved out of bingo halls where people would do community fundraising (which is still largely popular here) similar to our Socials. (1/3)
